I'm Interested in Membership

Welcome to Emmanuel! There are two types of members at Emmanuel: Covenantal and Confirmed. A Covenantal member means that you regularly worship with Emmanuel, and we are your spiritual community as you attend college, live temporarily in Spartanburg, or are in the process of discerning membership. This person cannot vote in congregational meetings or serve on the Vestry, but is considered a part of Emmanuel. A Confirmed member has been baptized, has completed the Confirmation Course, has been Confirmed by the Bishop, is a voting member in good standing within Emmanuel, the Diocese of the Southeast, and the Anglican Province in North America.
